Pacific County Fire District 1 currently operates a fleet of; six Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances, two transport capable rescue units, and one ALS quick response vehicle out of two 24 hour staffed fire stations.  Areas such as the ocean beaches, sand dunes, state parks and hiking trails all present their own challenges to patient access and patient care. Our fleet of specialized vehicles facilitates access to these hard to reach areas within the District’s boundaries where people find themselves in need of medical care.
